(VOVworld) – The beach tourism season opened at the Bien Dong Park in Da Nang city on Friday, featuring a kayak race, flashmob dance, beach games competitions, and an exhibition of local tours among a myriad of activities. Tourist will have the chance to explore Da Nang beaches and Son Tra peninsula through art performances, a tour to the top of Son Tra mountain where they are stunned by the breathtaking sunset panorama and a bird’s eye view, and a telescope station to look to the night sky.

Ngo Quang Vinh, Director of the Da Nang municipal Department of Tourism, said: “We organize 20 activities this year. Beach games competitions and a trade fair are held for the first time. Local authorities have worked with travel agents to improve the quality of tourist services”.

A cuisine space was reserved at No.1, Phan Dang Luu street for tourists visiting the city, It features local specialties and foreign dishes, as well as other entertainment activities. The free-admission event will open until September.

On Saturday, Ha Long city in Quang Ninh province hosted the “Colorful Ha Long” program, the highlight of the Ha Long – Quang Ninh Tourism Week 2017 which will run until next week. Luong Xuan Thanh, a tourist from Hai Duong province, said: “I come here with my family. I had lots of fun at this large-scale program in Ha Long this year. This is the first time I have come to this beautiful beach city and really want to come back again”.
