Given the Covid-19 pandemic, the deal with nearly 100% of reduction in tax lines will boost Vietnamese exports when Vietnam has fundamentally brought the pandemic under control, according to Tran Thanh Hai, Deputy Director of Import-Export Administration, Ministry of Industry and Trade. He explained:“The EU market is a diverse and vast market with high values generated to the Vietnamese imports and exports, especially in commodities of advantages such as textiles, footwear, seafood, and wooden products. We will have more advantages when tariffs imposed on those goods are to be zero% in the next 7 to 10 years.”
