Chairman of the Committee, Phung Quoc Hien, said that Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar are developing countries and at the initial stage of global economic integration. Their economies are directly or indirectly affected by global economic changes.
The Vietnam National Assembly has the constituent and legislative power and supervises the state governance. To decide and monitor state budgets are important tasks, affecting all aspects of the economy. Improving the quality of the National Assembly’s supervisory work in finance and budgetary areas will raise the efficiency of investment resources, budget disbursement, and the use of people’s tax, as well as map out appropriate directions for economic development and global integration.
