Vietnam can boast of a strong recovery, macro-economic stability, and inflation under control despite COVID-19, said a GSO representative at a press briefing on Tuesday.
Supply and demand of domestic commodities were balanced. Domestic sales and exports were brisk. The expansion of the agro-forestry-fishery sector indicated that restructuring has been a success.
Exports in the first half of the year generated approximately 158 billion USD, up 28.4%. Global consumption is bouncing back, creating an opportunity for Vietnam’s export companies to benefit from the free trade agreements Vietnam has signed.
