They are individuals who have greatly influenced their community or achieved an impressive record such as Dr. Truong Thanh Tung of Hanoi’s Phenika University, who has done scientific research, Lieutenant Duong Hai Anh whose volunteer work has helped many children in Son La province, and engineer Nguyen Van Thien Vu, who built an unmanned aircraft for use in agriculture.

First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Bui Quang Huy said: “Talent must combine with morality to create a fully-rounded individual. In addition to developing their talents, young people need to practice morality for the betterment of humankind. I hope you’ll all stay committed to your chosen path, which is difficult but glorious.”
