This year’s winners were selected from 500 companies based on their Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI), a measure which uses 127 indicators of sustainable development results, competent administration, environmental responsibility, and sustainable labor practices.

Vu Tien Loc, President of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that now that Vietnam has opened the door to the world, sustainable development is the passport for businesses to enter the international market and the ID card of a responsible global citizen.

“I call on enterprises which have applied CSI to spread the index in your partner network to form a sustainable development chain and create a huge competitive advantage for your companies. If you want to go fast, go alone, if you want to go far, go together. The strength of an enterprise comes not only from the enterprise itself, but is also built up from a strong community.”
