The first attack left at least ten dead, including five women, in Mbingi village. The second attack, on Friday morning, took place just a kilometre from the first at Mapasana, killing 5 people and several others reported missing. Houses were torched and shops pillaged.
The attack was carried out by the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF), an Islamist armed group who took responsible for the bloody attack killing of 50 villagers in Irumu.
