(VOVworld) – The Ho Chi Minh Youth Union held a ceremony to grant the Luong Dinh Cua award to 150 young farmers for their outstanding production results.

At the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh appreciated their achievements saying that they have set good examples in contributing to Vietnam’s rural development. “The Youth Union at all levels needs to regularly organize activities to support young people, care for their legitimate rights and interests, and promote their vanguard role in national construction and defense. Party organizations, ministries, and sectors should provide young people with the best possible conditions so they can contribute their knowledge and talent to socio-economic development, industrialization, and industrialization.”

The Luong Dinh Cua award is an honorary merit of the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union conferring on rural youths who have excellent results in production, scientific and technological transfer, environmental protection, and rural development.
