(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Transport will allocate 1.7 billion USD to build high-capacity ironclad ships to make fishermen feel more secure during offshore operations.

Transport Minister Dinh La Thang told reporters on Thursday that the upgrade follows a government directive, adding that the Ministry backs all incentives to encourage fishermen in the Truong Sa and Hoang Sa archipelagoes.
