2 new imported COVID-19 cases reported in Vietnam
(VOVWORLD) - An Indian expert and a Vietnamese student returning from the UK are the two new cases of COVID-19 reported in Vietnam on Sunday evening, bringing the total infection in the country to 1,109, according to the National Steerng Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.
The Indian patient landed on Vietnam’s Tan Son Nhat airport on October 6 and was quarantined in Dong Nai province upon arrival. The 33-year old Vietnamese student returned from the UK on October 3 at Van Don International Airport and was quarantined in Hai Duong province. SO far, 1,024 among 1,109 COVID-19 patients in Vietnam have fully recovered. The death toll in Vietnam is 35.
