(VOVworld) - The central city of Da Nang will host the 2012 Miss Vietnam pageant scheduled for August 12-15. The winner will be awarded 15,000 USD.

Le Xuan Son, acting Editor-in-Chief of the Vanguard newspaper, told a press conference in Hanoi on Wednesday: “The contestants will compete for many titles including Miss Talent and Miss Ao Dai (traditional long dress). The 2-week contest will include a lot of charitable activities, in line with our vision of promoting a friendly community, in harmony with nature and the environment.”
