(VOVworld) – The 23^rd Informatics Olympics for Vietnamese students and International College Programming Contest opened on Wednesday in Ho Chi Minh city.

The event attracted more than 350 teams from 67 universities nationwide. The 10 best teams in programming will compete in the qualifying round for Asia region in Thailand on November 13. Nguyen Long, General Secretary of the Vietnam Informatics Association, said at the event: "500 students have been selected from universities nationwide. All should do your best for the best results to raise Vietnam’s image in the international arena".
