(VOVworld)- The 27^th Southeast Asian Games concluded on Sunday in the capital city of Naypyitaw, Myanmar.

The closing ceremony included local performers performing folk dances. More than 6000 athletes and officials from 11 countries participated in the games. 461 gold medals were awarded in 33 events. Thailand finished first with 107 gold medals, followed by the host country Myanmar with 86. Vietnam finished third with 73 gold medals. The 27^th SEA Games witnessed 44 new records in athletics, swimming and weight-lifting. The 28^th SEA Games will be held in 2015 in Singapore.
