(VOVworld) - The 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Wednesday concluded its second annual session in Bejing after 9 working days.

The members have passed the work report of the Standing Committee in 2013, the report on proposals reviewed during the session and political resolutions from the 2014 session. Chairman of the CPPCC, Yu Zhengshen, stated the requirements and tasks for the next year. He said that the CPPCC needed to enhance its research, investigation and creativity in order to build an all round prosperous society.

Political consultative delegates have fulfilled their duties regarding political consultation and democratic supervision. Members also participated in a number of press conferences regarding reforming income distribution, urbanization, and health care.
