40th anniversary of World Festival of Youth and Students celebrated
(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association in coordination with the Pacific Group Corporation, held a ceremony in Hanoi on Saturday to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 11th World Festival of Youth and Students in Cuba.

Truong Thi Mai, Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilisation and President of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, called on ministries and sectors of the two countries continuing to exchange delegations and organise more cultural activities, contributing to the solidarity and close relationship between the two peoples.
At the ceremony, Ms. Mai presented 50,000USD donated by former Vietnamese young participants at the 11th World Festival of Youth and Students to the “Bac Ho” (Uncle Ho) primary school in Cuba.
