(VOVworld) – Friendly, cooperative relations between Vietnam and Russia have continually been consolidated and expanded over the past 65 years. Le Manh Ha, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee was speaking at a ceremony on Monday to mark the 65th anniversary of Vietnamese-Russian diplomatic ties.

Ha emphasized that bilateral relations between Vietnam and Russia have made significant achievements in various fields that contributed to the modernization and development process of each country. Organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations, the ceremony was attended by local authorities, representatives of the Consulate General of Russia in Ho Chi Minh City, Russian friends, and Vietnamese who used to study in Russia.
