68 killed in US air raids on detention center in Yemen
(VOVWORLD) -Houthi forces reported on Monday that 68 people were killed in a US airstrike targeting a detention center for undocumented migrants in Yemen on Sunday night.

According to Houthi-affiliated media, the airstrike hit a facility in Yemen’s Saada province that housed African migrants, leaving 68 dead and 47 injured. All victims were reportedly African nationals.
These figures – not yet independently verified – are similar to previous claims by the Houthis of 80 deaths and 170 injuries from a US airstrike on the Ras Isa port on April 17.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) said the United States has hit more than 800 targets in Yemen since mid-March, killing hundreds of Houthi fighters, including members of the group’s leadership.
