Ambassador Ngo Duc Manh reviewed the progress in relations between Vietnam and Russia and outlined ways to promote cooperation in economics, trade, and cultural exchange.

Director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Third Asian Department Ludmila Vorobyova lauded Vietnam as one of Russia’s vital trade partners in ASEAN. She said the Russian Foreign Ministry is ready to cooperate with the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry to implement high-level agreements and organize the Vietnam Year in Russia and the Russia Year in Vietnam in 2019.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Cuba hosted a New Year meeting with overseas Vietnamese students and business people. Ambassador Nguyen Trung Thanh wished overseas Vietnamese in Cuba a new year of prosperity and urged them to continue fostering friendship between Vietnam and Cuba.
