(VOVworld) – President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Thien Nhan on Wednesday visited and presented gifts to wounded and invalid soldiers at the center for those who rendered great services to the nation in Bac Giang province.

Mr. Nhan spoke highly of the responsibilities of the center’s staff. He added that the Party and State were taking into consideration adjustments in policies to give the best support to revolutionary contributors.

On the same day, Senior Lieutenant General Ngo Xuan Lich, Chief of the General Department of Politics under the Vietnam People’s Army visited invalid soldiers at a rehabilitation center in Duy Tien district, Ha Nam province. Mr. Lich expressed his hope that the soldiers and center staff will continue to display the noble tradition of the Uncle Ho soldiers, serving as examples for the young generation to follow. To mark the occasion, he presented 60 gifts worth 50 USD each to the wounded and invalid soldiers at the center.
