During the meeting on Tuesday, local authorities called on Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers to continue to promote the fine traditions of Buddhism in the new period, uphold national solidarity, and contribute to the national economy.
Officials of Vinh Phuc province visited some provincial Buddhist committees and pagodas on the occasion. Local authorities urged Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers to continue to follow the Party and State’s policies and positively respond to the patriotic emulation movement.
