(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam’s exports of agro-forestry-aquatic products earned 3.7 billion USD in January, according to the Ministry of Agricultural and Rural Development.
Exports of key farm produce earned 1.7 billion USD, down 13%, while seafood exports decreased 31% to 600 million USD and timber and wood products declined 30% to 1.1 billion USD.
The Ministry said the decline in export value last month was due to declining orders and the fact that the long Tet holiday fell in January instead of February this year.
