(VOVworld) - Vietnam earned nearly 21 billion USD from selling abroad farm, forestry and fish products in the eight months of 2016, up 5.6% from a year ago.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, coffee, aqua-products, cashew nuts, and peppers saw an increase in both output and value.
Coffee achieved the highest export growth fetching 2.25 billion USD, up almost 40% in volume and 20.7% in value. It was followed by the exports of peppers earning revenue of more than 1 billion USD.
The export value of fishery products amounted to 4.3 billion USD, a rise of over 4% on the same period last year.
