(VOVworld)-Two secondary students from the southern region have won the 2017 EF Challenge, an international speech competition in English hosted by EF Education First.
Ly Khanh Quynh from Thoai Ngoc Hau high school in An Giang province was crowned champion of the high school category while Tran My Tram Mai from Duong Minh Chau middle school in Tay Ninh province claimed the first prize in the middle school category.

Quynh will represent Vietnam at a young leadership forum in New York this summer and Mai will be awarded a 2-week summer course at EF Singapore school.

2017 is the third year EF Vietnam has organized the competition which encourages students' creativity and self-confidence. This year's competition was themed "What does it mean to be a global citizen?".
