(VOVWORLD) - The ASEAN Future Forum 2024 (AFF 2024) opens in Hanoi on Tuesday with the presence of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone of Laos - ASEAN Chair 2024, and ASEAN Secretary-General Kao Kim Hourn.

The forum draws the participation of about 400 Vietnamese and ASEAN delegates. Two discussions will be held after the opening ceremony with the themes "ASEAN develops rapidly for a sustainable future" and "Ensuring comprehensive security for a people-centered ASEAN Community".
