(VOVworld) – ASEAN+1 will meet with its partner countries – the US, Japan, China, India, Russia, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, North Korea, and the EU – in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Wednesday.

Representatives will review the implementation of co-operation projects between ASEAN and its partners and will draft new projects. ASEAN+1 will also try to promote ASEAN’s role in multilateral mechanisms such as the East Asia Summit, the ASEAN Regional Forum, and the ASEAN Defense Ministers Meeting Plus.
