He stressed that Asia was being presented with opportunities and was on a mission of rapid growth to contribute to resolving global issues. In order to follow a new path and sustainable growth model, Asian countries should nurture reform and technological innovation as a principle. He said the process requires closer cooperation among economies and regions throughout the ASEAN community, Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), and other free trade agreements.

Mr. Dam said the future of Asia and growth momentum depends on a peaceful, cooperative, and stable environment. All differences should be resolved by peaceful measures complying with international law and based on mutual trust. Cooperation for mutual interest, trust, and the sharing of responsibility in common matters are indispensable factors to ensure resilient growth in the region and the world. Vietnam always exerts its efforts in working with countries and partners in that spirit.
