(VOVworld) – Asia’ finance, monetary, and economy were high on agenda of 10 discussions topics on Wednesday of the Boao Forum in China’s Hainan province.
A report on prospects for emerging economies in 2014 described their pressures as slower growth, the degradation of domestic currencies, and poorer international payment capability. While emerging economies are facing difficulties, developed economies like the US and Japan are recovering steadily. Drivers for world economic growth shift from only emerging economies to both emerging and developed economies.
2014 Boao Forum’s Secretary General Zhou Wenzhong said this event will promote initiatives of politicians, business leaders, and scholars in the stable and sustainable development of the regional economy.
