(VOVworld) – At least 30 people were killed and 100 injured in 2 suicide bombings in northern Cameroon, officials said on Thursday.

An anonymous police source said the first blast occurred at a market in Kerawa, a border town near Nigeria. The second blast took place 200 meters from a military base.
Kerawa has been the scene of clashes between Boko Haram militants and government soldiers. 50 people were killed there in July in 5 suicide bombings allegedly conducted by Boko Haram militants.
