Beauty contest for journalists spreads message of environmental protection
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam Television contestant Pham Ngoc Ha My was crowned Miss Press Green Beauty on Saturday at a pageant which honored female journalists and spread the message of environmental protection for the earth’s sustainability.

Female journalists from Hanoi-based media organizations competed in Ao dai – Vietnamese traditional long dress, evening gown, and Q&A segments. The contestants also submitted videos of their activities to protect the environment, particularly dealing with plastic waste.
Voice of Vietnam Vice President Ngo Minh Hien, said: “The contest offers a fresh source of encouragement for the contestants in particular and journalists in general in protecting the environment.”
The contestants will participate in a communication campaign on environmental protection.
