(VOVWORLD) - French President Emmanuel Macron’s “Republic on the move” Party (REM) has won a majority at 11 overseas voting offices in the first round of France’s National Assembly election.
French voters overseas cast ballots on Saturday and Sunday, one week before the first voting round in France. All of the REM candidates have won more than 50%, some even more than 60% of the votes, according to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
