(VOVworld) – The Boao Forum for Asia 2017 opened on Saturday in South China’s Hainan province. Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the conference.

The event was attended by leaders from 5 countries, and 80 economic ministers and officials, and scholars.
Under the theme “Globalization and Free Trade: The Asian Perspectives”, the conference focuses on globalization, growth, reform and new economy. It included 65 official activities, workshops, roundtable discussions, and 2 thematic meetings.
