Mr. Phong urged the two countries to cooperate more closely and comprehensively, particularly in people-to-people exchanges, on the basis of their traditional friendship since the 80s. He asked Deputy Foreign Minister Castaneda to help the VUFO Committee for Solidarity with El Salvador people to connect with potential partners. Castaneda said solidarity and friendship are the foundation for a long lasting relationship between Vietnam and El Salvador.
