(VOVworld) – The State President has conferred the National Guard Force under the Ministry of Public Security the Ho Chi Minh Order. Addressing the award ceremony and the force’s 60^th founding anniversary in Hanoi on Thursday, President Truong Tan Sang hailed the great achievements that the force has gained over the past time. He suggested the force continue doing its best to fulfill its duties in the context of increasingly complicated situations threatening independence, and territorial integrity in sea and islands. He said that the guard force should raise its political staunchness while promoting scientific and technological application and international integration.
