(VOVWORLD) -Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company on Tuesday signed a deal to partner with Singapore-based Changi Airport International (CAI) with the aim of making Cam Ranh Airport a key aviation hub in Southeast Asia.

With support from reputable financial institutions such as Legacy Infrastructure and Changi Airport, Cam Ranh Airport is expected to see dramatic changes in management and international-standard operations, resulting in a world-class experience for tourists.
One of the airport’s long-term development goals is to increase its capacity to serve 8-10 million passengers per year.
In 2019, before the COVID-19 pandemic, Cam Ranh Airport received about 6.8 million passengers annually, with more than 30 airlines and flights to more than 80 destinations worldwide.
In the first days of 2024, Cam Ranh Airport signed cooperation agreements with three new airlines, becoming a new destination for potential tourist markets from Europe and Asia.
