(VOVworld) – The Secretariat of the Vietnam Party Central Committee held a conference on Tuesday to review the implementation of the Politburo’s directive on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

The conference was co-chaired by To Huy Rua, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party and Head of the Central Organizing Board and Nguyen Thien Nhan, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The participants proposed measures to boost the campaign, focusing on the role of leaders. Tran Hong Ha, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of the central agencies bloc, said: "Managers and leaders should be role models in the campaign to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example. The campaign needs to be promoted at the Party Central Committee, with more focus on leaders from the Ministries and local sectors". 

To Huy Rua, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Party and Head of the Central Organizing Board, said: "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example is a long-term task. This should be closely linked to the implementation of the resolution on Party building. It is necessary to gradually resolve shortcomings during the implementation of the campaign".
