(VOVworld) – Businesses from Vietnam’s southern province of Can Tho met with Belgian investors on Thursday at the Vietnamese Embassy in Belgium to promote their potential. Ambassador Pham Sanh Chau said this meeting helped Can Tho businesses find partners, adding that many Belgian businesses are keen to invest in the Mekong Delta region.
During their visit, Vietnamese delegates worked with leaders of East Flanders province to inquire into the 2014 Accenta International Trade Fair in Gent city this September. Can Tho will be an honored guest, occupying the biggest pavilion in the 1,000 square meter fair.
Petor Van Kerckhove, the CEO of Belgium’s VK Group and chief investor of Amanoi resort in Vietnam’s Ninh Thuan province, said he highly valued Vietnam’s investment attraction.
