(VOVworld) – The police sector and the War Veterans’ Association of Can Tho city have reviewed 15 years of implementing the resolution on encouraging everyone to get involved in national defense.

The movement has obtained significant results in Can Tho city over the past 15 years. It has promoted community unity and promptly prevented and fought reactionary, distorted arguments by hostile forces and opportunists to ensure political stability in the interests of national construction and defense.
Trần Thành Nghiệp, Chairman of Can Tho City’s War Veterans’ Association said: “We appreciate the public communication work by the war veterans. War veterans and senior people are experienced and prestigious people among the community. They have talked to and rehabilitated law breakers back into the community. They have become effectively involved in local reconciliation work.”
The police sector and the Association of War Veterans have jointly built 120 groups of “good mass mobilization”.
