Catalan separatist party drops unilateral independence bid
(VOVWORLD) - PdeCat, the party of former Catalan President’s Carles Puigdemont has announced that it supports dialogue with the central Spanish government over a unilateral approach to independence.

The move followed Spain’s strong reaction to Catalonia’s independence referendum last month. PdeCat and its former ally ERC will abandon their unilateral bid for independence, Spanish media said.
