(VOVworld) – A ceremony was held on Sunday at Linh Ung pagoda in Hanoi’s Dong Anh district to welcome 100 Buddhist sarira stupas. The ceremony’s solemn Buddhist rituals were attended by Buddhist dignitaries, Hanoi authorities, and more than 2000 Buddhist followers from across Vietnam. 100 Buddhist sarira stupas were brought to Linh Ung pagoda from India, Nepal, Thailand, and Myanmar. Some were presented to the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha by foreign Buddhist dignitaries.
