(VOVworld) – On Friday, the Cham ethnic people of Ninh Thuan province celebrated their traditional Kate festival at their ancient temples and towers.

Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh attended the event and presented gifts to leading religious dignitaries. The festival featured traditional rituals and performances, including an important Goddess costume carrying ceremony, as well as games and competitions at the temples and towers.
This year’s Kate festival in Ninh Thuan was held in combination with the “Grapes and Wine Festival”, and attracted thousands of domestic and foreign visitors.
