(VOVworld) – World leaders and representatives from humanitarian organizations have attended the
first UN World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul, Turkey. At the 2-day summit, more than 60 world leaders will discuss means to achieve specific goals in humanitarian issues.
Participants agreed that resolving humanitarian crises is an urgent task given the fact that about 60 million people worldwide have fled their homes and 125 million people are in need of protection and humanitarian support.
