Charity Run to support needy children
(VOV) – A charity run will take place this Sunday at Hanoi’s National My Dinh stadium, to raise funds for poor children in a mountain commune in Yen Bai province, said the event organizers at a press briefing on Friday in Hanoi.
The run, themed "Connecting VietYouth 2014", is the result of a joint effort by the Vietnamese Student Association in the UK (SVUK) in collaboration with the Global Shapers Community and the Academy of Journalism and Communication. Vietnamese university students from around the globe will participate in a run aimed to support needy children as a new school year begins.
