(VOVworld) - China favors an inclusive world order, a Chinese official said in Munich on Sunday. Fu Ying, chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress of China, told the Munich Security Conference on Sunday that the US and China have common interests in world affairs and the two countries need to cooperate in addressing global challenges. She said China stands firmly for international order and a system based on the goals and principles of the UN Charter, as Chinese President Xi Jinping stated in his speech in Seattle during his US visit last September. Fu said President Xi wants to build a new relationship with the United States that features non-conflict, non-confrontation, mutual respect, and win-win cooperation.
