China, Russia vow to safeguard a “just and equitable” international order
(VOVWORLD) - Chinese and Russian senior officials on Wednesday pledged to ensure a “just and equitable” international order and promote global peace and stability.

Yang Jiechi, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, and Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev co-hosted the 14th round of the China-Russia strategic security consultation in Moscow. Both men called for stronger bilateral cooperation. Mr. Patrushev said Russia is eager to maintain high-level communications. The two also discussed the Korean peninsula, the Middle East, and the Iran nuclear deal.
