The call was made prior to a CITES conference to be held from September 24 to October 5 in Johannesburg, South Africa. Vu Thi Quyen, Head of the Vietnam Education Center for Nature, said the center hopes the right decision will be made at this conference to protect the lives of animals facing extinctions because of hunting and illegal trafficking.
