(VOVworld) – The National Assembly Office held a meeting in Hanoi on Wednesday to discuss communications activities in preparation for the 70^th anniversary of the 1^st general election on January 1^st, 2016. Representatives of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication and Education, the Ministry of Information and Communications, and the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, were present at the event. As scheduled, activities to mark the occasion will include a state-level meeting, a get-together of former National Assembly deputies, and a seminar entitled “Vietnam’s National Assembly: 70 years of development”. A publication on the 70 years of development of Vietnam’s National Assembly will be released to mark the occasion.
