The ceremony to introduce the Lao version of Ho Chi Minh Complete Works, 1st volume, in Vientian, Laos.

The book was the initial result of a joint project between the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Lao National Academy of Politics and Public Administration to translate the complete works from Vietnamese into Lao.

Thongsalith Mangnomek, Director of the Lao academy, spoke at the ceremony to introduce the book: “The project includes President Ho Chi Minh’s writings from 1912 to 1924, reflecting his mind changing from patriotism to scientific socialism and his ideology of national, social, and human liberation, national and international unity, and revolutionary path. His works affirmed the right way to liberate Vietnam and suppressed nations including Laos. The first volume serves the study and research at Lao educational establishments as well as the training of cadres, and supports the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party to complete its policy.”
