Conference of full-time NA deputies closes
(VOVworld) – The conference of full-time National Assembly deputies concluded on Friday after two-days of sitting. The deputies discussed a bill of Association, and agreed to specific regulations to categorize types of associations in order to create appropriate support policies for them.

They agreed that all associations have to register with the local or central administration, particularly any with many members and a large social impact.
Deputy Truong Anh Tuan from Nam Dinh says: “Many opinions say that associations must register under state management. I think many so-called associations, for examples of people from the same locality, should not be under state management. I agree that for unregistered organizations, their members have to take personal responsibility before the law.”
National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu asked the law drafting board and verification agency to closely coordinate to gather opinions to finalize the draft Law on Religion and Belief and draft Law on Association before submitting them to the next meeting of the NA Standing Committee.
