(VOVworld) - The Central Council for Theory and Criticism of Literature and Art opened a symposium on Wednesday to discuss the current situation and solutions to improve the quality of artistic work. Participants analyzed the causes for the current state of artistic composition and proposed measures to enhance content and artistic values to meet the demands of art lovers.

Chairman of the Council, Pro. Dr. Nguyen Hong Vinh, said while addressing the event: "Today’s discussion aims to create a consensus on theoretical perception and present an over-view of current art practices.
