(VOVworld)-Representatives from relevant agencies have gathered in Hanoi to comment on a proposal to hold vote of confidence for officials elected by the national Assembly and People’s Councils. Speaking at the meeting in Hanoi on Tuesday, National Assembly Deputy Chairman in charge of the Steering Board on Vote of Confidence, Uong Chu Luu praised the proposal’s importance in the implementation of the Party resolution on Party building. It is expected to help the National Assembly, People’s Councils and the public to strengthen their supervision of elected officials’ performance. The proposal has been sent to Party, Government, Fatherland Front, Supreme People’s Court and People’s Procuracy for comments.”
